Pelikulttuurien tutkimuksen huippuyksikön tutkijoiden vasta ilmestynyt Pelit kulttuurina -kirja on puheenvuoro pelisivistyksen puolesta. Kirja näyttää, miten pelit ovat erottamaton osa arkemme ympäristöjä.
To promote responsibility and transparency in our research practices, the Centre of Excellence in Game Culture Studies researchers have been discussing and developing a recommendation for authorship attribution to be adopted in the research activities within the CoE. This recommendation was approved in the CoE’s monthly meeting on 13th December 2021.
The National Open Science and Research Steering Group in Finland has awarded the Centre of Excellence in Game Culture Studies with the Advancers of Open Science (Avoimuuden edistäjät) 2021 award. This prestigious honour is a recognition of the CoE’s merits in the strategic advancement of open science in their research work, and it was presented at the Open Science Autumn 2021 conference held on the 24th of November in Turku.
For the Centre of Excellence in Game Culture Studies, the principles and practices of open science provide a sound basis for being excellent in research. In this strategy document, we summarise our goals, guidelines, and good practices regarding open science.
